The 'Formwork for Concrete Structures- Virtual Laboratory' provides students with practical exposure to different formwork systems used in reinforced concrete construction. Through interactive virtual experiments, students can understand the components, assembly sequence, construction procedure, and application of formwork for foundations, walls, columns, beams, and slabs.

The laboratory covers both conventional and modern formwork systems, including simple formwork, climbing formwork, PERI systems, Flex formwork, heavy-duty (HD) tower systems, and aluminium formwork. The virtual format enables students to learn and practise important construction procedures remotely, without requiring continuous access to a physical construction laboratory or site.
